Disordered Eating Support Online With Body-Based Support

Deborah Williams, RD offers compassionate, structured support for people dealing with disordered eating patterns, food anxiety, binge eating, restriction, body distrust, or cycles of shame and control.

Deborah’s approach combines nearly two decades of expertise as a registered dietician with body awareness, nervous system support, and The Conscious Body Method™ to help clients rebuild connection with their body in a safe, individualized way.

How It Works

How Disordered Eating Support Works With Deborah

You want freedom with food, but still go through control, restriction, bingeing, avoidance, or familiar shame cycles. You understand that something has to change, while also feeling unsure how to do that without falling into another pattern of pressure or self-blame.

The Conscious Body Method™ gives you support for understanding those patterns with care and less self-blame. You’ll work with Deborah to look at what happens before the behavior, your body’s response during difficult moments, and what kind of support you need to begin rebuilding trust with food and your body.

Depending on your needs, this work may include:

  • Nutrition support from a Registered Dietitian

  • Body awareness practices

  • Nervous system regulation tools

  • Gentle movement-based awareness

  • Reflection around triggers, emotions, and behavioral cycles

  • Micro-activities between sessions

  • Support rebuilding trust with body cues

  • Collaboration with other providers when needed

Through disordered eating support within The Conscious Body Method™, you can move toward a safer relationship with food, less shame around eating patterns, more trust in your body, greater emotional steadiness, and supportive responses when old cycles begin.

THE PROCESS

What Working Together Looks Like

Every client’s process is different. Disordered eating requires care and an understanding of what level of support is appropriate.

Deborah’s work begins with understanding where you are now, what support you need, and how The Conscious Body Method™ can fit into your wider care.

1. Begin With A Consultation

The first step is a conversation. Deborah learns more about what you are experiencing, your patterns, what you have tried before, and whether this work fits your needs.

2. Understand The Pattern

Together, you identify what keeps repeating. This may include food behaviors, body responses, emotional triggers, control patterns, shame cycles, or moments where you feel disconnected from choice.

3. Support The Body

As a Registered Dietitian, Deborah may provide nutrition support that helps stabilize and nourish the body without turning the process into another rigid set of rules.

4. Rebuild Body Awareness

Through body-based practices and guided awareness, you reconnect with the body in a way that is manageable. This work helps you notice physical signals, internal shifts, and moments of activation.

5. Build Capacity During Activation

Deborah helps you practice staying present when difficult feelings, urges, anxiety, or old responses begin to appear, to create more space between the trigger and the behavior.

6. Practice New Responses

Through session work and between-session micro-activities, you practice different responses in real life. These are to build a practice of awareness, care, and choice over time.

7. Continue Or Coordinate Support

Depending on your needs, the foundational work may continue into deeper support, nutrition counseling, embodiment work, or collaboration with additional providers.
